Bel Air, Md. – The Frederick Community College baseball team was in action on Saturday afternoon as they traveled to Harford Community College for a conference doubleheader. The Fighting Owls defeated the Cougars by the scores of 12-0 and 12-10. FCC is 23-12 overall and 7-6 in the conference.
The Cougars were limited to just two hits in game one and FCC starting pitcher Brian Rourke was hit with the loss. Rourke went 3.1 innings and falls to 2-3 on the year.
In game two, FCC shortstop Billy Lennox went 4-for-5 and knocked in four runs. Teammate Dylan Gutierrez had two hits and Seth Holler hit his third homer of the year. Six different FCC pitchers toed the rubber in game two. Colby Rudis suffered the loss and falls to 4-2 on the season.
FCC will return to the diamond on April 6th when the host Hood College JV. First pitch is slated for 4:00 PM.
