FREDERICK, Maryland –  Heading into Saturday's contest, the FCC men's basketball team knew they would have a challenge on their hands. Niagara County Community College (7-0 overall) entered the contest ranked #11 in the NJCAA DII National Poll. FCC fell behind by 17 points after the first twenty minutes of play and that was the difference in the game as the Cougars fell by the score of 96-77. FCC didn't have an answer on the defensive end as the Thunder Wolves buried a season-high 18 3-pointers.

CJ Williams and Domantas Sakickas poured in 18 points each for the Cougars. Sakickas connected on 8-of-10 field goals. Williams was a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe. Christian Knox added 11 points off the bench while teammate AJ Gregory chipped in with 10 points.

FCC (3-2 overall) returns to the hardwood on 11/25 when they host Harcum College JV. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 PM.
