Men’s Soccer Signs Highly-Touted Recruit

FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick Community College men's soccer Head Coach John LaRocca is proud to announce West Virginia Player of the Year, Teo Garces, has committed to play soccer next year for the Cougars.

Garces scored 41 goals and registered 18 assists in his senior year at Jefferson High School (Shenandoah Junction, WV). He tallied an amazing 99 goals in his four years of high school. 

"Teo is going to be an extremely fun player to watch," said Coach LaRocca. "He has loads of talent, with an amazing work ethic. I rarely come across a player as humble as he is on and off the field. We are expecting a lot from him and I know he will deliver." 

Garces was tabbed The Journal's (Martinsburg, WV) Male Soccer Player of the Year and was a 1st Team All-State selection.  "I chose FCC because I know for sure that everyone that is going to be around me will help me be the best player that I can be," said Garces. "I also love the campus and I know that it's going to be really competitive and I love to compete against the best. I know Coach LaRocca and the other coaches will help me get ready."
