Frederick, Md. -- For First time in the school history, Frederick Community College Women's Soccer Team won 1-0 over Hood College. Although it was a scrimmage against a four year college, the women played well against a very aggressive team and fast team with many shots on our goalkeepers. Hannah Smith scored the winning goal with 18 minutes into the game and goalkeepers, Kayla Worrell and Emily Frank earned their first shutout of the season with Kayla having eight saves and Emily four saves. This team will continue to improve and they are off to Wilmington, North Carolina on Saturday morning to play Cape Fear CC and Oxford CC for a weekend of soccer. Go Cougars!
