Women’s Soccer Wins Fourth Straight, Beats Harcum College, 6-2

Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania - The FCC women's soccer team cruised to a 6-2 win over Harcum College on Saturday. The Cougars are clicking on all cylinders and FCC Head Coach Joachim Walker has his team playing quality soccer at the right time. The Cougars have outscored their opponents this season by a score of 63-8.

Ashley Nguyen put the Cougars on the scoreboard in the 14th minute of the first half with the feed from Ally Pick. Nguyen would add another goal in the first half, this time it was Nicole Godoy with the assist and the Cougars were rolling at this point.

After the break, FCC would tally four goals to seal the win. Gemma Carioti found the back of the net in the 46th minute of play with the help of a solid pass from Lindsey Brant. Brant, the NJCAA women's soccer leader in goals, added two more to her total. She scored in the 49th and 66th minute of the game. With the two goals today, Brant now has 32 on the season. Ally Pick picked up her second assist of the game. Pick, the all-time assist leader at FCC and current assist leader in the NJCAA, now has 17 assists on the season. Jasmine Lara would cap off the victory in the 73rd minute with a goal to nail down the victory.

FCC will host Wake Technical Community College Sunday, September 29, on Alumni Day for the Cougars. Game will begin at noon.
