Bel Air, Md. - The Frederick Community College volleyball team traveled to Harford Community College to take on the Fighting Owls in MD JUCO action. The Cougars knew they would have a target on their back as they sit atop the conference standings. FCC defeated the Fighting Owls 3-1 (25-21, 12-25, 25-18, 25-18) to remain perfect in conference play. Winners of six straight, FCC sits at 8-4 overall and 7-0 in conference play.
FCC will host the Hawks from Hagerstown Community College (6-0 MD JUCO) in a showdown as the two top teams battle to remain perfect in conference play on Tuesday (10/3). First serve is set for 6:00 P.M.
Katelyn Atchison continues to dominate for the Cougars and state her claim as one of the top performers in the conference. Atchison recorded 19 kills in the victory while teammate Leslie Pamer dished out 33 assists and turned in a dominating performance. Kori Payne did work on the defensive side for FCC registering 27 digs in the match. Noel Snow continues to shine when the team needs a clutch serve as she turned in three service aces in the victory.
