FCC volleyball loses in straight sets to Nighthawks

FREDERICK, Md. - The Frederick Community College volleyball team fell in straight sets to the Nighthawks from Northern Virginia Community College, 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-15) in Region XX DII matchup.

  • Madison France posted eight kills and three service aces for the Cougars.
  • Leslie Pamer recorded five kills and dished out 15 assists.
  • Jacqueline Ryan chipped in with four kills and 11 digs.
  • NOVA's Brittany Connatser had quite a performance in the victory. She tallied a match-highs 17 kills and five service aces.
  • The Nighthawks registered 12 service aces in the win.


  • The Cougars are 8-5 overall on the season, including 5-5 in Region XX DII division play. NOVA improves to 14-12 overall, including 9-3 in Region XX DII competition.
