Volleyball rallies after dropping 1st set to defeat Harford

BEL AIR, Maryland – The Frederick Community College women's volleyball team hit the road on Thursday night to battle the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College. The Cougars fought back and earned the 3-1 victory over Harford. With the win, FCC improves to 4-2 on the season. With tonight's win, FCC has now beat Harford for the fifth year in a row!

The Cougars were cruising right along in the first set and led 22-15. Harford would come back and take the first set, 26-24. FCC would take the next three sets to earn the win.

What a performance by FCC's Rylind Abshire in the win. She had a match-high 14 kills and hit an astounding .538 in the win. Teammate Kioni Smith came up big as well with eight kills. Setter Madison France recorded 35 assists and set the FCC hitters up very well in the victory. Devyn Jacobson and Clarisse Diaz recorded 28 and 18 digs respectively.
