Winning streak continues for FCC volleyball

FREDERICK, Maryland – The Frederick Community College volleyball team continued its winning streak on Thursday night with a clean sweep over the Hawks from College of Southern Maryland. The Cougars won their fourth in a row with a 25-17, 25-21, and 25-13 win and sit at 6-2 (5-2 MD JUCO) overall on the season. The Hawks fall to 3-6 (1-5 MD JUCO) overall. Over the span of the four game winning streak, FCC tops their opponents, 12-1, in sets.

Standouts:      

  • Rylind Abshire 8 kills (.375 hitting percentage), 3 service aces, and 3 solo blocks
  • Jacqueline Ryan 8 kills, 13 digs, and a .267 Hitting Percentage
  • Noel Snow 8 kills, 3 digs, and a .667 Hitting Percentage
  • Madison France 4 kills, 28 assists, and a .250 hitting percentage

On Tuesday, October 1st at 7:00 PM, the FCC volleyball team travels to Potomac State College of WVU.
