Hagerstown, Md- The No. 20 FCC volleyball team defeated Northern Virginia Community College 3-1 on Saturday afternoon. With the victory the Cougars improve to 26-3 on the year and will play at noon against Potomac State College of WVU Sunday afternoon for the Region XX D2 Championship.
FCC sophomore standout Emily Rabat registered a double-double with 18 kills and 15 digs in the victory. Rabat had a great supporting cast from her teammates as Victoria Ketner and Victoria Bryant stepped up big time. Ketner registered 29 digs and Bryant handed out 37 assists.
The winner of tomorrow's Championship match will earn a bid to the NJCAA Division II Volleyball Championship Tournament in Phoenix, Arizona.
