Phoenix, AZ- The nationally-ranked No. 20 Frederick Community College volleyball team saw their record-setting season come to an end on Friday. FCC fell 3-0 to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in an elimination match at the NJCAA D2 National Tournament. FCC concludes the 2015 season with an overall record of 27-5.
FCC sophomore Jackie Burns turned in a stellar performance. Burns registered eight kills in the match and was a difference maker in the third set. Freshman Victoria Bryant handed out 25 assists while teammate Emily Rabat finished with 9 kills.
Congratulations to the FCC volleyball team, Head Coach Ashley Rippen, and her coaching staff on a remarkable year. The Cougars registered the most wins in a single season in the program's history and made their first appearance to the National Tournament.
