The Frederick Community College Cougars men’s soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with visiting Hagerstown Community College Hawks on Tuesday afternoon in Frederick. The Cougars conceded just 79 seconds into the match when Marvin Brown scored for the Hawks, but they showed grit and composure to work their way back into the contest. FCC’s pressure finally paid off late in the first half when Praise Ngoma struck a penalty kick equalizer in the 40th minute, sending the teams into halftime level at 1-1.
